Gold Medalist – Olympic and X-Games – Shaun White

Olympic men’s snowboarding competition in Vancouver when snowboarder Shaun White performed the first ever “Double McTwist 1260” also known as “The Tomahawk.”

This wildly difficult aerial maneuver consisted of two inverted head over heels flips performed while spinning three and a half times above a steep icy snowpack to drop.

It was the most difficult move ever attempted in the History of Snowboarding, and secured White the Gold Medal after he had beaten his own previous record breaking win.

Later, when asked what he was Thinking during that Moment, White replied, “ … at that point, you’re really Not Thinking. You’re just Letting It Happen. It’s a mixture of being Completely Focused, then slightly, Not Caring.”

“Simultaneously, experiencing Domination and Spontaneous.”

Shaun White described his own State of Mind as being Completely Focused then Slightly Not Caring.

It’s in this Paradoxical State of Opposite Mindsets when we’re in Conscious Flow and Connected to something more Expansive than Ourselves where we can Let Go.

Just Let It Happen and put Our Faith and Trust in The Moment.

We then experience True Freedom.
